Allah’s name to begin, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ
Proclaim (O dear Prophet Mohammed - peace and blessings be upon him), “He is Allah, He (Allah) is One.”

اللَّهُ الصَّمَدُ
“Allah is the Un-wanting.” (Perfect, does not require anything.)

لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ
“He (Allah) has no offspring, nor is He (Allah) born from anything.”

وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌ
“And there is none equal to Him (Allah).”

Philosophy

In the above verses a highly authentic and practical formula has been described to identify and believe in an entity as True God and clearly differentiate it from anything and everything else. Here and also in many other verses of the Quran-Al Kareem a bold line of differentiation and separation has been set as follows:

The  Creator (God that is Allah)

Creator and sustainer of all the creations
No dependence of anything in any sort and form
Never been among generated and never needed to regenerate or reproduce itself or like itself
Must be superior in all imaginable powers and  aspects to everything (possessor of all sorts of capabilities and no limitations)

THE BIG SEPARATION LINE
                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       THE BIG SEPARATION LINE

The Creations

All created by a creator (The God - Allah) without their permission, decisions or consent
The shape, form, elements, capabilities, limitations, requirements of existence and sustainability and time of origin and period of continuity all selected by the creator
Continuation of existence is dependent upon the creator
Functions of creations are within the framework of capabilities and limitations granted by the creator and never exceed beyond
